Can't speak enough about how special this photo is for me. When I took on this traveling dress project we didn't expect to be shooting this series indoors. But with the weather we made the best of the situation. Nevertheless a magical portrait was made of it. LooksLikeFilm May Feature Part 2
LooksLikeFilm is a really rad community of photographers who share and inspire each other thru their art; photography. I have met and have been introduced to so many incredible artists in that platform. To be featured a 2nd time in May is an a HUGE honor for me. There was a time when I struggled with confidence in my photography. I realized that shooting for light first and subject second was key to killer shots. Finally, the light bulb turned on in my head. This photo was taken at the Unraveled Retreat in Utah. Unforgettable day with really rad people. But I'll save that for another blog post XO

Truly an incredible honor to be featured in Twyla Jones's 2nd Digital Magazine! She curates THE most beautiful photos from some seriously talented peeps. I'm just so honored to share space with these artists!! My photo of a personal photo session for myself which was inspired by my "Last Day on Earth" Assignment for the Unraveled Academy Workshop I took back in February. My shutter was at about 1/30 sec and I am soo happy with the long exposure on this. Black and white photography definitely is more of a challenge to have noticed these days - with colors and the digital world.
